The Chalucet Castle

The medieval fortress of Châlucet constitutes a major heritage elements of the Limousin built on top and on the slopes of a spur; two fortifications: Châlucet bottom is the oldest (XII-XVIth), with the famous' Tour Jeannette "and Châlucet high (XIII), both military space and luxury residence; dismantled by the Consuls of Limoges at the end of the sixteenth; among the most beautiful ruins in France; excavation and consolidation work in progress.
