Saint-Germain-les-Belles is located south of Limoges, by the border between Corrèze and Haute-Vienne. It is a typical Limousin village amidst Haute-Vienne’s bocage. The town was built around the 14th century church and its chestnut slate roofed bell-tower. Parts of the old castle are still visible, such as the 12th century dungeon and fortifications. The town’s houses are built around the old fortifications. Don’t miss St Germain’s lake and its range of family activities. Our Tourist Office also invites visitors to discover the other towns in the Saint-Germain area : Château-Chervix, Glanges, La Porcherie, Magnac-Bourg, Meuzac, Pierre-Buffière, Saint-Genest-sur-Roselle, Saint-Hilaire-Bonneval, Saint-Vitte-sur-Briance and Vicq-sur-Breuilh.
