Limoges War Resistance Museum

The War Resistance Museum, in the heart of historical Limoges, opened in 1989. A collection of weapons, objects and authentic documents are used to depict the different forms and actions of the local resistance movement. The museum approaches the themes of Nazism and Deportation. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions (with an entrance fee.)
Open all week except for Tuesdays and Sunday mornings, from September 16th to June 14th from 9.30am to 5pm, and on Sunday afternoons from 1.30pm to 5pm. From June 15th to September 15th, open all week except for Tuesdays, from 10am to 6pm. Closed on May 1st, during Christmas holidays and on January 1st. Rates : 4 € - 2 €. Guided tours, themed tours, audio-guides (2 €), For children's tours and workshops (aged 9 to 12) please contact us.
